Today we had a Teams meeting with Allison Seo, she prepared a presentation about the second chapter of "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas". Firstly, we asked questions about her, her favourite foods and school subjects. She told us she was a Gemini and liked sushi. Then, she started the presentation, we talked about Bruno's troubles and differences between his new home and the previous one in Berlin. She designated a few slides for words from the book that we might have not known: restriction, dismissively, desolate, foreseeable. Everyone enjoyed this meeting and talking to Allison.

Our second meeting was about chapter 2 of really intriguing book, "The boy in the stripped pajamas". Set in World War II, the Holocaust drama express terror of a Nazi extermination camp through the eyes of two 8-year-old boys, Bruno, the son of the camp's Nazi commander, and Shmuel, a Jewish prisoner. When Bruno moves to another house, he thought that the building he saw from his window was a farm, but he was mistaken. Our todays teacher was Allison Sao, shy, but really friendly junior in highschool from Seattle. Shes a gemini, admires dogs also her favourite zodiac signs are scorpios and libras. She dislikes scary movies, but loves cake. On this day lesson she showed us difficult words from the book for example content, restriction, dismissively, desolate, foreseeable . Moreover she reminded us about the first chapter, as well as asked simple questions from it.
